Insight and Perspective With 16 years experience as a Vice President of Marketing with a Ph.D. in a scientific discipline, I understand science and technology, and have the ability to converse with experts across multiple specialties. The combination of extensive experience in multiple medical technology segments and a deep understanding of the science underlying your products provide greater insight and perspective.
Expertise: Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Development I have leveraged my sales, marketing, and corporate development expertise as an executive at leading medical device and life science firms (McKesson, Bayer Diagnostics, and Johnson & Johnson) to build corporate value. My hands-on experience in new customer acquisition, establishing corporate partnerships, commercialization of new products and the development of early phase businesses has contributed to the success of the firms in increasing profits and market share, and improving business process.
I have thrived in large companies, start-ups, and turn-around situations. I am an expert in devising strategy, driving sales and marketing initiatives, managing product life cycles, strategic planning, marketing communications, and improving business process.
Education I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, a B.A. in Chemistry from California State College, and an Advanced Management Certificate from Pace University. As part of my education I accomplished post-doctoral research projects at the Eidgenossische Technische Hochschule in Zurich, Switzerland and the School of Medicine, at Case Western Reserve University before moving into a business career.
